We are approaching the end of our Advent season, and the Christmas season is coming.
But before we get there (December 25th), we are reminded that God has already shown up! (A good reminder that God always moves first…)
As you prepare for your celebrations, remember that God is already here.
We do not “bring Christ to Christmas.” Christ is already among us, healing, listening, comforting, challenging, stirring us up and leaving us in a different place than we assumed we would be.
And truth be told, that’s usually the fun part of this ride!
Peace be with you as you prepare, as you anticipate, and as you wait for the coming of the One who comes… all the time.
