Reformation Sunday is a day to remember that “change” is an integral part of the lived experience of Christian faith.
Change is not only inevitable, it’s also a healthy part of life. Yes, it can be difficult, but not changing, or refusing to change, while perhaps easier to contemplate, can actually be detrimental to the health and life of all of us.
And this applies to individuals, to families, to communities (like churches), to nations, and to the whole wide world.
